AIRPORT STOP-OVERS
BIXI is a bike rental program supported by subscription and underwritten by the City of Toronto. It is primarily designed for people using a bike within the city core for one half hour or less.
Visitors to Toronto may join the BIXI system for one day for the cost of $5.00 plus Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). For the membership they get access to BIXI bikes and one half hour free. After the first half hour if you do not return the bike additional charges apply.
If you plan to take a 3 ½ hour tour of the city, be aware of the costs indicated on the chart below. Yes, that does say $42.50!
